In my last post I gave you instructions on how to make a Trojan Horse Craft. I mentioned that my daughter and I watched this youtube video so we could learn the story behind the horse. We really enjoyed the story so I thought it would be fun to put together a mini Trojan Horse Library featuring a few books on the subject.
I found all of these books at my local library as well as on Amazon. To purchase, just click on the book icons below.
The Trojan Horse: How The Greeks Won The War (Step Into Reading Level 5) By: Emily Little
The Trojan Horse: The Fall Of Troy: A Greek egend (Graphic Myths & Legends) By: Justine/Ron Fontes
Arts and Crafts for Myths and Tales By: Greta Speechley
This book has instructions for making a Trojan Horse that can be used as a toy box!
I hope these books are helpful for you. In our neck of the woods we’ve had quite a few storms roll in. Assembling this horse and reading about the Trojan War to discover who Paris, Helen of Troy and other characters are, would make a great rainy day or afternoon quiet time activity. And look out for the golden apple! If you find out why it is important to the story, please leave me a comment to let me know.
