When my oldest daughter was about 11 months old we took her with us on a trip to England and Spain. We had lived in Granada, Spain for 3 years prior to that trip, so on this return visit we stayed with good friends we had made when we lived there. They also had a baby and I was very intrigued when I found a list of foods and drinks that their doctor recommended for their child to eat and drink at various stages of development.
I noticed that a lot of the foods my doctor recommended were similar but the time frame was different. If I’m remembering correctly, I think they advised that babies drink orange juice, for example, a lot earlier than my doctor in the U.S. ever did. I also remember going to the grocery store where jars of baby food listing fish as the main ingredient lined the shelves. Yikes, double take! I don’t think I’ve ever seen one jar of Gerber Tuna on a shelf in my local Target. Have you?
So even though moms in Spain might have been feeding their little ones differently than I did in the U.S., one thing was the same. Moms everywhere care about keeping their families healthy. And while my blog is focused on world geography and not on family health, my blog is focused on teaching world geography in the context of family. So when the opportunity came my way to introduce you to a very extensive package of healthy living resources, I decided to investigate a bit.

I started to read about Stephanie who is behind the Healthy Living Bundle on her blog Keeper of the Home. I was surprised to find a lot of similarities between her and myself. She’s a mom who found herself struggling with her health at a young age. Through her struggles she found her walk with the Lord deepening, and began yearning to simplify her life.
I also found that she has a heart for children around the world who live in poverty. She traveled on a blogging trip with Compassion International a couple years ago to raise awareness for their child sponsorship program. That really struck a chord with me because I am a Compassion blogger too (look for the button on my sidebar!).
So instead of dismissing this Healthy Living Bundle, I found myself wanting to promote this to moms out there who can benefit from the research that went into this project and the resources that are available in it. Stephanie explains more about the research and resources in this 2 1/2 minute Healthy Living Bundle Video.
It sounds crazy but Stephanie and her team compiled a collection of eBooks and eCourses with a combined value of $1030. As “infomercialish” as it seems they are selling the bundle for $29.97 (for the PDF version) and $39.97 (for the eReader version). Here is just a small sample of the 73 eBooks that are included in this offer (click image above for the complete list):
Here is a summary of everything you need to know about this sale:
When? It last until 11:59 pm EST Monday, Sept. 15th or until 30,000 bundles are sold
What? 73 eBooks and 7 audio & eCourses, PLUS over $200 worth of bonus products you actually use!

How much? Yippee, that’s the best part! The entire package is worth $1030, but you can get it for just under $30.
I do think this set can be very beneficial. It is massive, but don’t let it overwhelm you. There is a Getting Started Guide included which will help you find the health concerns and topics that matter most to you.
P.S. Just a Reminder this offer lasts until Sept. 15th or as soon as 30,000 bundles are sold.
