I recently wrote some sponsored reviews on iTunes for three children’s apps from Kids Academy that I would like to share with you. Though sponsored, these are my honest opinions. I think the recommended 2-5 age range is right on target. My 6 year old is is too advanced for the activities, although she still has fun with it.
The skill level is challenging for my 2 year old. I actually plan to use this app a lot with him. He has some developmental delays and the tracing activities are recommended by his occupational therapist. He also just loves using my iPad!
The first is called Preschool and Kindergarten Learning Games Free.
My Review
This a very fun, engaging, age appropriate app. I really like the tracing activities that develop fine motor skills.
My Review
Great features include collecting lightning bugs in jars as a perk for tracing numbers correctly. I also like the progression in tracing letters. Children first follow the arrows, then try for themselves. And tracing must be accurate to count!
The third is called Best Kids Songs: Bingo ABC Alphabet Phonics
My Review
B-IN-G-O is F-U-N! Bright colors and kid-friendly graphics make this app fun and educational. My little guy loves it!
