10th Birthday Surprise
Today is my oldest daughter’s 10th birthday. Since it didn’t work out for our entire family to be together at breakfast this morning, we are going to eat our traditional birthday pancakes for dinner. They’ll be topped with strawberries, whipped cream, and birthday candles, of course. My daughter will also be opening gifts tonight. I am super excited about it because she will be getting a sewing machine! She is very crafty and she will love it.
Sewing Class On Vimbly
Now I, on the other hand, am horrible with a needle and thread. So I won’t be much help to her at figuring out how to work the sewing machine. It would be so nice if I could enroll her in a basic sewing class as part of her gift. I saw a 4 session basic sewing class for kids 8 and older that looks perfect for her on a site called Vimbly. My husband and I really like gifts that give our children a chance to learn or experience something new. The NYC kids section of Vimbly is a great resource to find all sorts of classes and activities for kids. Their website is really easy to navigate. There are categories for performing arts, life skills, sports, martial arts, art, acrobatics, and playtime. I found the sewing class under the arts category. I was able to see the time, dates, and price of the classes right away. I read a descriptive overview of the class and saw that I could book the class immediately or save it in a bucket list for later.
Vimbly In Major Cities
The kid’s version of Vimbly is only offered in NYC, but you can discover all kinds of activities, classes, lessons, city tours, and events geared towards adults and older children in 18 major cities around the U.S. This site is ideal if you want to explore your own city in a new way or make a vacation extra special.
Making Pirate Ship Memories
For example, I would love to take our kids on a Real Pirates of Lake Michigan Tour that I found in the Chicago section of Vimbly. My husband and I grew up in Chicago and go there at least a couple times a year to visit family. We often look for unique activities to do with grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins that will create lasting memories. I think boarding a pirate ship would definitely qualify as a family memory maker activity. Explore Vimbly for yourself to find some innovative ways to make memories of your own. With Vimbly at your fingertips, you can explore the world one city at a time.
